June 28 through August 2, 2008 -- Velocity: the Art of Motion. This will be the largest, stand-alone automotive fine art exhibition in the United States and the first time such an event has occurred in the Upper Midwest. Given the history of the site of Hopkins Center for the Arts (former dealer lot of Suburban Chevrolet), nothing could be more appropriate than celebrating the automobile and the art it has inspired. Visit the Hopkins center for the Arts for a schedule of events.

September 14, 2008 -- Hagley Museum and Library welcomes everyday and luxury European vehicles at the annual Hagley Car Show on Sunday, September 14. These wheels will join more than 600 antique American cars, trucks, and motorcycles displayed on a general field. Visitors can try video and pedal-powered go cart racing, watch vehicle parades, enjoy motoring music and festival food, and delight in walking around a room full of fabulous operating vintage jukeboxes. Hagley Museum is located in Wilmington, Delaware. The event will be held rain or shine. For more information, call 302-658-2400 or visit www.hagley.org.
