Every year the SAH receives a number of books and periodicals as part of the nomination process for the SAH Nicolas-Joseph Cugnot and Carl Benz Awards. These books and articles are deposited into the SAH Special Reference Collection at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum (ACDAM) in Auburn, Indiana.

Containing works of reference as well as items of special interest, the SAH Collection reflects the development of modern automotive history and grows larger every year. To see what’s in the collection, click on the link below.

The SAH Special Reference Collection is available for use by SAH and ACDAM members as well as visitors. The collection is, however, available only for use in the reading room, and only by appointment. To make an appointment, please contact the Collections Manager.
