The E. P. Ingersoll Award is given for the best presentation of automotive history in media other than print that appeared in the previous calendar year.
Video documentaries, oral histories and sound recordings, podcasts, websites, blogs, social media, cell phone and tablet apps, computer software and art are eligible for consideration (nominations for online-only periodicals should be directed to the Brigham Award.)
Requirements
All nominations and enquiries should be sent to sahawards@autohistory.org. Your email will then be forwarded to the Ingersoll committee chair.
Nominations should include the name of the award, the media being nominated, the name and contact information of the individual making the nomination, and one or two lines outlining the reason for the nomination.
Please include a link to the relevant media or submit a copy to the committee. Please remember that nominated media, website, app or software should have appeared in the previous calendar year. Neither nominees nor nominators have to be be SAH members.
All nominations for the Ingersoll Award must be received by April 15 of this year. Be sure to apply by the deadline.
