AACA Eastern National Fall Meet

The SAH has a long relationship with the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) and the AACA Hershey Region—more than 50 years—and has regularly attended the annual AACA Eastern National Fall Meet held in Hershey, Pennsylvania, during the first full week of October. In fact, that’s where the SAH was founded back in 1969.

Hershey Week, as the event is more commonly known, is one of the largest antique vehicle flea markets and car shows in America. It’s held on the grounds and parking lots of Hersheypark and the Giant Center. The SAH hosts a Hospitality Tent on the flea market Orange Field.

The schedule

SAH 2026 Hershey Week Schedule

  • Tuesday-Thursday, October 6-8. SAH Orange Field Hospitality Tent plans to be announced.
  • Friday, October 9. AACA national judging Car Show is held behind the AACA HQ

Both the SAH Fall Board Meeting and the Annual General Meeting are held via Zoom, after Hershey Week. 2026 dates will be announced in the fall.

SAH Authors' Book Signing

For many years the SAH held an Authors’ Book Signing in the Orange Field tent on Thursday afternoon of Hershey Week. While well-attended by authors, sufficient foot traffic was always a concern. In 2023 the Authors’ Book Signing was relocated to the popular Tuesday afternoon AACA Library Yard Sale, by generous invitation of the AACA.

Early Days of the SAH

During the 2023 SAH Annual Banquet at Hershey, founding member Bill Jackson gave a talk on the 1969 founding of the SAH during Hershey Week, and on the early days of the Society. An October 2024 re-recording of Bill’s presentation, as a 19-minute PowerPoint voiceover, can be viewed here.
