Velie Motors, founded by descendants of John Deere, produced refined mid‑priced cars known for reliability. The 1918 sports models arrived just after WWI, capturing the era’s growing enthusiasm for personal motoring and performance‑oriented touring.
The Society of Automotive Historians (SAH) is a 501(c)(3) a not-for-profit organization consisting of a community who preserves and promotes automotive history. Including amateur and professional historians, scholars, collectors, restorers, journalists, museum and library professionals, teachers, educators, and just plain enthusiasts. Membership in the SAH is open to everyone.
