The WSAH spring meeting was held in Hartford, Wisconsin on April 25, 2026, again hosted by the Wisconsin Automotive Museum (WAM). Sixteen members were in attendance, including museum Executive Director Dawn Bondhus.
The pre-planning and on-the-ground assistance the chapter provides in staging the Iola Car Show were reviewed. This is an annual group effort for which the WSAH receives a sizable donation from the show management.
Final discussions were held about reprinting of the 216-page paperback Wisconsin Cars & Trucks, edited by the late Val Quandt and published by the WSAH in 1998. A vote was made to proceed with the reprinting project, with technical assistance from the museum staff.
The chapter approved a sizable annual donation to WAM. The next chapter meeting takes place during the Iola Car Show in July. (bb)
